A study on health status of the elderly people who visited the community health care service center

Abstract

|
|
This study was to assess health status for the elderly people who have visited the community heath care service center. About 60% of the survey respondents reported that they had suffered from any kind of diseases during the past six months. The elderly people who were female, single, uneducated, or lower SES tended to show worse status in both physical and mental health. The findings suggested that the better health care program should be given to the elderly persons through the community health care center.
